So you'd like to try SCUBA diving? Well you've come to the right place. We'll get the formalities out of the way first, then introduce you to the wonderful underwater world.
The club is a member of The Irish Underwater Council CFT, which in turn is affiliated to C.M.A.S. (Confederation Mondiale des Activites Subaquatiques). We adhere to the highest safety standards as outlined by these organisations and award the various qualifications under their guidelines. Being a college club, all of our members are either students (both undergrad and postgrad), alumni or staff of either institution. Unfortunately we can no longer accept membership from non NUIG-GMIT students or the general public. |
